2006 WGTB, INC. Official Contest Rules and Regulations for “Best 80’s Hair”.

Eligibility.  Only legal U.S. residents, who are 13 years of age or older at the time of entry, may participate in the “Best 80’s Hair” contest (this "Contest"). 17 years and older my submit themselves.  If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian submit for you.  This Contest is void where prohibited by law, or where the registration or filing requirements of any state or local jurisdiction have not been complied with. This Contest is not open to employees of WGTB, Inc., Artigo/Ajemian Films (Sponsors), or Uncovered Productions.

To Enter. Only one entry per person will be accepted (any subsequent entries will not be considered). You can only submit pictures of yourself.  Submitting pictures that are not of you will not be accepted and will be discarded (Unless you are under 18 years of age and are having a parent or legal guardian submit for you). Each entrant must do the following:

(1) Read and agree with these official Contest rules - Submission of an entry into this Contest confirms your agreement with these Contest rules;

(2) You must write that you have read the Rules and Regulations for this contest in the email when submitting electronically through , or in a letter when submitting a hard copy through the mail.;

(3) All Contest entries must be submitted, either electronically to or through the mail to:

Please send a copy and NOT your Master; and All submissions will become the property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Photo Submission Requirements. Photos submitted electronically must be JPEG’s or PDF’s. Creativity and originality are what's most important; Visitors to the site will be voting on the 10 finalists, so make sure your photo is interesting and will stand out. Remember, the hair is what’s important, so make sure your hair is visible and well lit.  The foregoing requirements/restrictions will be strictly enforced and any submissions that do not comply with all of the foregoing requirements will be disqualified. All submitted entries become the property of WGTB, Inc and will not be returned. Do not send us your originals.

Right to Display photographs on WeGotTheBeatMovie.com. Each entrant agrees and grants WGTB, Inc. permission to make available and display/perform and otherwise distribute entrant's Photo submission in all media in perpetuity without compensation.

Contest Submissions Deadlines. Entries must be submitted and received by Artigo/Ajemian Films between June 9th, 2006 at 12:01 a.m. EST, and July 10th, 2006 at midnight EST, to be eligible to win. Mailed entries must be postmarked on or before July 5th, 2006 at midnight EST, and must be received by Artigo/Ajemian Films by July 10th, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. EST, to be eligible to win. WGTB, Inc. and Artigo/Ajemian Films are not responsible for any lost, stolen or undelivered entries, or any entries not received within the applicable Contest periods mentioned above. The Sponsors reserve the right (a) to suspend or cancel the Contest in their sole discretion if a computer virus, bug or other technical problem corrupts the administration or security of the Contest, and (b) to select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation date. The Sponsors further reserve the right to modify the rules of the Contest in any way or at any time, as long as reasonable notice is given.

Winner Selection. Only 1 (one) winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received. As stated above the contest closes on July. 10th, and thereafter the Sponsors will post all the eligible photo submissions (that meet the requirements of these Contest Rules) on WeGotTheBeatMovie.com to be made available to the public for viewing. Visitors to WeGotTheBeatMovie.com will have the opportunity to view and vote on the submissions -- Voting will be open until July 21st, 2005 at midnight EST. The Top 10 vote getters will be posted on WeGotTheBeatMovie.com, at which point visitors to the site will have the chance to vote on their favorite among the top 10. The finalist with highest number of votes will win the contest and will be announced no sooner than on July 30th at 12:00 midnight.  The winner must execute a promotional release.  The winner will be contacted and will have 5 business days to come in and meet with producers at Artigo/Ajemian Films to discuss their featured role in “We Got the Beat”. Noncompliance will result in disqualification of the winner and an alternate winner will be selected by the Sponsors from remaining eligible entries.   WGTB’s “Best 80’s Hair” contest defines a “featured role” , minimally, as being present and visible in a scene.  A “featured role” does not have lines or dialogue in the movie.  The producer’s of “We Got the Beat” reserve the right to edit, cut, or expand on any featured role in the movie.

Judging Criteria. The top 10 finalists will be chosen by a combination of the Sponsors and votes coming in from the viewers on the website.

Prizes. The winner will receive a featured role in “We Got the Beat”.  As stated above, the sponsors of the “Best 80’s Hair” contest define a featured role as being a role where the actors’ (winner) face is present and visible on camera when shooting the scene.  A featured role has no lines or dialogue in the movie.  The producer’s of “We Got the Beat” reserve the right to cut, edit, and or expand on any scene shot for the movie. There is absolutely NO PAY in conjunction with this contest.

Winner Notification. The winner will be notified by e-mail, phone or first-class mail by August 1st. If a winner does not respond within five (5) business days after the date of notice from the Sponsors, an alternate winner may be selected. The Sponsors shall not be liable for (1) failed, returned or misdirected notifications based on inaccurate information provided by the winner (2) entries and responses to winner notifications which are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, misdirected, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient in whole or in part or for computer or technical error of any kind. The winner will be given five (5) business days from the first day of notification to respond to claim their “featured role” in “We Got the Beat”.  A non-response by the winner or non-receipt of notification response after the specified five (5) business days will be considered a forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner may be selected from the pool of eligible entries. If an entrant is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may also be selected from the pool of eligible entries. If winner refuses to sign a release for their featured role a new winner will be selected based on the next highest number of votes.

Odds of Winning. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Entries will not be limited, except as expressly provided above.

Miscellaneous. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of the Sponsors, which are final in all matters relating to this Contest. Prize is nontransferable. Arrangements for the fulfillment of all prizes will be made by the Sponsors. Receipt of any prize is conditioned upon compliance with any and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.

Releases. By participating, entrants agree that the Sponsors and those involved in the development, production, implementation and distribution of this promotion and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or promotion shall not be liable for any and all claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this Contest, including entry and participation in this Contest and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize. All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to this Contest, they will indemnify Sponsors from any and all such claims, including the attorneys' fees related thereto. The Sponsors shall not be responsible for any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer on-line system, computer equipment, software, program malfunctions or other failures, delayed computer transactions or network connections that are human, mechanical or technical in nature, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from downloading as part of this Contest. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Contest will be ineligible for prize and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. This Contest shall be governed by Massachusetts law. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree that Massachusetts courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Contest and that venue shall be only in Massachusetts.

Official Rules and Winner's List. The Participants' names and submissions may be posted on WeGotTheBeatMovie.com.

General Conditions. This Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. In the event of non-compliance by the winner with the official rules of this Contest, an alternative winner may be awarded. Return of any notification as undeliverable will result in a disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. All incidental expenses will be the responsibility of the Winner.
